South Louisiana Clinical Research Foundation

Community Education, Awareness, And Outreach

The South Louisiana Clinical Research Foundation (SLCRF) is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to developing and providing the highest quality medical education by delivering outstanding programs for healthcare providers and patients.

SLCRF was founded in 1998 by physicians of the Cardiovascular Institute of the South as a community outreach effort to educate patients and health care professionals in South Louisiana.

4th Largest Cardiovascular Conference In The United States

From our beginning as a grass-roots organization with a goal of hosting community CPR days and complimentary health screenings, SLCRF has grown in size and scope. In addition to regional community programs, we are now proud to host the 4th largest cardiovascular conference in the nation, New Cardiovascular Horizons (NCVH).

In addition to NCVH, we are proud to partner with other educational organizations such as the My Leg, My Choice Foundation, Horizons International Peripheral Group and CathCases.com Online Learning.

We strive to maintain integrity and promote best practices without industry bias. Our goal is to bridge the learning gap between current practices and improve patient outcomes by providing programs that will increase knowledge, competence and performance.

Our goal is to truly make a difference in the lives of those in which we are privileged to serve.
