The inaugural NCVH Salt Lake City meeting “Evolving Paradigms in Cardiovascular Care and Peripheral Vascular Disease” February 16, 2019 was a great success. On behalf of Chairmen, Sohail Khan, MD and Craig Walker, MD, we would like to thank all faculty, attendees, and exhibitors for participating in such an exciting day of education.
Our attendees had the chance to listen to discussions focusing on:
- New paradigms in peripheral vascular disease, including discussions on Paclitaxel-coated devices in PAD
- Cardiovascular updates, including gender disparities in cardiovascular disease management
- Hot topics in cardiovascular disease, including heart failure updates
- Leg ulcers and limb amputation prevention updates, including updates in wound care therapies
Special thanks to Congressman Ben McAdams of Utah for attending and addressing the future of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and healthcare policy in the United States.
Our goal is to bring healthcare professionals from different backgrounds and specialties, including our front-line healthcare providers, primary care physicians and nurses to brain storm and address challenges in healthcare delivery. We all play a part in improving patient outcomes.
